We gather various types of Personal Information from our users, as explained in more detail below, and we use this Personal Information internally in connection with our Services, including to personalize, provide, and improve our services, to allow you to set up a user account and profile or interact with other users, to contact you and allow other users to contact you, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to analyze how you use the Services. 2.Will UMBO ever change this Privacy Policy?
We’re constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time as well, but we will alert you to changes by placing a notice on the www.umbocv.com, by sending you an email, and/or by some other means. For any planned changes to the Umbo Smart Cloud (such as cloud service functions, offline service, infrastructure adjustment, etc.), in the event that such change will adversely affect the performance and quality of the Umbo Smart Cloud service, we will notify you of such change by posting an announcement on our website three days in advance of such change. If you use the Services after any changes to the Privacy Policy have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used.
3.What Information does UMBO Collect?
Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us.
For example, through the registration process and/or through your account settings, we may collect Personal Information such as your name, email address, phone number, camera title, camera description, ZIP or postal code, the country where the Product is located as well as where in your premises you’re installing it. This information is used to personalize your experience and improve the Services – for example, to tell you which device is triggering a notification or to improve the precision of the notification. Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features. We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may send you email about your use of the Services or other information of the Services. If you do not want to receive communications from us, please indicate your preference in the notification settings of the management portal in your account.
Information Collected Automatically
Whenever you interact with our Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, geolocation data, device identification, device model and serial number, software version, “cookie” information, the type of browser and/or device you’re using to access our Services, and the page or feature you requested, and other technical information. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in our Services are visited and by how many people. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. We may use this data to customize Services to you, based on your usage patterns. We may also use it to improve the Services – for example, this data can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the Services, and we can use that knowledge to make the Services interesting to as many users as possible.
Information Collected From the Products
Our Products may contain sensors built therein. For example, through such sensors built into the cameras you installed at your premises, we collect data on the environmental and surrounding conditions such as device temperature and ambient light. Such information enables UMBO to deliver certain Services, for instance, to turn on night vision when the information suggests it is dark in the environment. Our Products may record, stream, and analyze the video and audio captured by your devices according to your configuration and settings. We may use such recording, data, and other information to identify or detect various objects, events, motions, or other things and send you notifications, alerts, or analysis accordingly. Some of the features of our Products may enable you to access the video and audio recordings from your device or using the Services subject to the functionality of the Services. Your audio and video data are stored in third party cloud storage and we will only access and use it to provide Services to you or otherwise at your request or with your permission.

Please remember that any content you upload to your public user profile, along with any Personal Information or content that you voluntarily disclose online in a manner other users can view (on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, etc.) becomes publicly available, and can be collected and used by anyone. Your user name may also be displayed to other users if and when you send messages or comments or upload images or videos through the Services and other users can contact you through messages and comments. We will collect and store information that will allow us to provide Services as directed by you. You understand that we cannot control if other users you have allowed access to your User Submission make such User Submission publicly available and to be collected and used by others, or to be redistributed through the Internet and other media channels.
